That information might include either your company name, phone number, email address, as well as other information including location, purchase history, and other demographic information. By giving us this information, you consent to this information being collected, used, or disclosed to us in the United States and stored by us, as set forth in our Terms of Service and in this Privacy Policy.

If you provide third-party account credentials to us or otherwise sign in to the Services through a third party site or service, such as Facebook you understand some content and/or information in those accounts (“Third Party Account Information”) may be transmitted into your account with us, and that Third Party Account Information transmitted to our Services is covered by this Privacy Policy. (B) What Information do we collect automatically:

When you use our Services or browse one of our Websites, we might collect information about your visit to our Websites, your usage of the Services, and your web browsing. That information might include your operating system, your browser ID, IP address, your browsing activity, and other information related to how you interacted with our Websites or other websites. We might collect this information as a part of log files as well as through the use of cookies or other tracking technologies. “Cookies” are identifiers we transfer to your browser or device that allow UNI-SOURCE 2000 to recognize your browser or device and tell us how and when pages and features in our Services are visited and by how many people. You may be able to change the preferences on your browser or device to prevent or limit your device’s acceptance of cookies, but this may prevent you from taking advantage of some of our features. Some cookies are placed in your browser cache while those associated with Flash technologies are stored with your Adobe Flash Player files.

Our use of cookies is discussed more below.

We do not usually link any IP addresses to anything that can be personally identifiable. This means that your Internet session will be logged, but you will remain anonymous to us. We will seek to link your IP address when we deem it necessary to protect the Website or App and other Users from harm and to prevent criminal misconduct.

(C) Information from your use of the Services:

We may receive information about how and when you have used our Services, store it in log files or other types of files associated with your account, and link it to other information we collect about you. This type of information helps us to improve our Services for both you and for all of our users.

(D)  Cookies and tracking:

We and our partners may use cookies or similar technologies to analyze trends, administer the website, track users’ movements around the website, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. Users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. We may partner with a third party to either display advertising on our website or to manage our advertising on other sites. Our third party partners may use cookies or similar technologies in order to provide you advertising or other content based upon your browsing activities and interests.

We might use this data gathered by cookies or similar technologies to customize content for you that we think you might like, based on your usage patterns. We may also use it to improve the Services.

If you click on a link to a third party website or service, a third party may also transmit cookies to you. Be advised that this Privacy Policy does not cover the use of cookies by any third parties, and we are not responsible or liable in any manner for their privacy policies and practices. Please be aware that cookies transmitted by third parties might continue to track your activities online even after you have left our Services, and those third parties may not honor “Do Not Track” requests you have set using your browser or device.

(E) Web Beacons, GPS and Geotracking:

Web pages might contain an electronic file which is called a web beacon, that allows a website to count the number of users who have visited that page or to access certain cookies. We might use web beacons in the following ways:

(i) Within the UNI-SOURCE 2000  Websites

  • We may use web beacons within any of the UNI-SOURCE 2000 websites so as to count users and to recognize users by accessing UNI-SOURCE 2000 cookies.
  • Being able to access UNI-SOURCE 2000 cookies allows us to personalize your experience when you visit the UNI-SOURCE 2000 websites that are located both on and off of the UNI-SOURCE 2000 website domains.

(ii) Outside of the UNI-SOURCE 2000 Websites

  • UNI-SOURCE 2000 may use web beacons to conduct research on behalf of certain partners on their websites and also for auditing purposes.
  • Information recorded through these Web beacons is used to report anonymous individual and/or aggregate information aboutUNI-SOURCE 2000 users to our partners. Aggregate information may include demographic and usage information. Be advised that no personally identifiable information about you is shared with partners from this research.
  • Be advised that this opt-out applies to a specific browser rather than a specific user. Therefore you will have to opt-out separately from each computer or browser that you use.

(iii) HTML Mail

  •  UNI-SOURCE 2000 might include web beacons in HTML-formatted email messages that  UNI-SOURCE 2000 , or its agents, or affiliates send so as to determine what specific email messages were opened and to note whether a message was acted upon. Be advised that typically any file served as part of a web page, including an ad banner, can act as a web beacon. UNI-SOURCE 2000 may also include web beacons from third parties and affiliates within pages served by UNI-SOURCE 2000 so that UNI-SOURCE 2000’s advertisers might receive auditing, research and reporting.

As we adopt additional technologies, we may also gather information through other methods. Please note that you can change your settings to notify you when a cookie is being set or updated or to block cookies altogether. Please consult the “Help” section of your browser for more information (e.g., Internet Explorer; Google Chrome; Mozilla Firefox; or Apple Safari). You can also manage the use of Flash technologies, including flash cookies and local storage objects, with the Flash management tools available at Adobe’s website. Please note that by blocking, disabling, or managing any or all cookies, you may not have access to certain features or offerings of the Services.

(F) Online Analytics and Advertising

We may use third-party web analytics services (such as those of Google Analytics) on our Services to collect and analyze usage information through cookies and similar tools; engage in auditing, research, or reporting; assist with fraud prevention; and provide certain features to you. To prevent Google Analytics from using your information for analytics, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on by clicking here.

If you receive email from us, we may use certain analytics tools, such as clear GIFs to capture data such as when you open our message or click on any links or banners our email contains. This data allows us to gauge the effectiveness of our communications and marketing campaigns.

The Services may integrate third-party advertising technologies that allow for the delivery of relevant content and advertising on the Services, as well as on other websites you visit and other applications you use. The ads may be based on various factors such as the content of the page you are visiting, information you enter such as your age and gender, your searches, demographic data, user-generated content, and other information we collect from you. These ads may be based on your current activity or your activity over time and across other websites and online services and may be tailored to your interests.

Third parties may also place cookies or other tracking technologies on your computer, mobile phone, or other device to collect information about you as discussed above. These third parties (e.g., ad networks and ad servers such as Google Analytics, DoubleClick and others) may also serve tailored ads to you as you use the Internet and Internet-connected applications, and access their own cookies or other tracking technologies on your computer, mobile phone, or other device you use to access the Services to assist in this activity.

We neither have access to, nor does this Privacy Policy govern, the use of cookies or other tracking technologies that may be placed on your device you use to access the Services by such non-affiliated third parties. If you are interested in more information about tailored browser advertising and how you can generally control cookies from being put on your computer to deliver tailored advertising, you may visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s Consumer Opt-Out link, the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Consumer Opt-Out link, or Your Online Choices to opt-out of receiving tailored advertising from companies that participate in those programs. To opt out of Google Analytics for display advertising or customize Google display network ads, visit the Google Ads Settings page. We do not control these opt-out links or whether any particular company chooses to participate in these opt-out programs. We are not responsible for any choices you make using these mechanisms or the continued availability or accuracy of these mechanisms.

Please note that if you exercise the choices above, you will still see advertising when you use the Services, but it will not be tailored to you based on your online behavior over time.

(G) Information from other sources:

We may receive more information about you such as your name, email address, demographic information, IP addresses, location, and use of social media websites, by searching the Internet or querying third parties.

Also, we may receive a confirmation when you open an email from us. This confirmation helps us make our communications with you more interesting and improve our services. If you do not want to receive communications from us, please indicate your preference by unsubscribing at the bottom of the email and or through the settings menu in the application if the option is available.

If you provide an authorized agent with power of attorney pursuant to Probate Code sections 4121 to 4130, it may not be necessary to perform these steps and we will respond to any request from such authorized agent in accordance with the CCPA.

California Shine the Light

Residents of the State of California, under California Civil Code § 1798.83, have the right to request a list of all third parties to which the company has disclosed personal information during the preceding year for direct marketing purposes from companies conducting business in California. Alternatively, the law provides that if the company has a privacy policy that gives either an opt-out or opt-in choice for use of your personal information by third parties (such as advertisers) for marketing purposes, the company may instead provide you with information about how to exercise your disclosure choice options.

This comprehensive Privacy Statement from UNI-SOURCE 2000 provides you with details about how you may either opt-out or opt-in to the use of your personal information by third parties for direct marketing purposes. Therefore, we are not required to maintain nor disclose a list of the third parties that received your personal information for marketing purposes during the preceding year.

Please note, we will take steps to verify your identity before fulfilling any of the above requests. If you maintain an Account with us, we will verify your identity through existing authentication practices for the Account (e.g., login and password). If you are not a registered Website or Services user, we will verify your identity by matching two or three data points that you provide with data points that we maintain and have determined to be reliable for the purposes of verification.
